Q: How do I customize the DataGrids?
A:
The DataGrid can be customized allowing you to arrange, display and calculate
specific fields based on their preference for fitness activities, by doing the
following: Display or hiding columns in the DataGrid. The customize button will
launch a list of all the column headings available. You can select the columns
that are most important for the fitness activity. Moving column headings.
Column headings can be moved to reorder the data seen in the DataGrid. You
simply click on the column heading and drag it to the area in the DataGrid to
best fit your use for that activity. Grouping the DataGrid by column headings.
Drag a column heading to the top of the DataGrid to display data in
hierarchical groups. For example, you can group the running DataGrid by
"location". The DataGrid will now group all the runs by location and display
the details for all runs under each location. You can expand or collapse each
grouping

Q: How do I enter a workout?
A:
The workout entry form is an easy to use interface. The detail section of the
entry form is common among all types of fitness activities. The detail section
saves information such as time, duration, location and name of the fitness
activity. The DataGrids are unique to the fitness activity being entered and
contain columns and calculated fields pertaining to the fitness activity being
added. You can enter an unlimited number of exercises or sets by simply typing
directly into the DataGrid

Q:
Can I modify the layout of the screens?
A:
Yes! Everyone has a different idea of how they would like to navigate through
an application. EvenFit allows each window to be "docked" in different
locations on the screen. The window can also be "undocked" allowing it "float",
so you can move it freely anywhere on the screen. The Calendar, NavBar and
Workouts grid can also be pinned or un-pinned. By un-pinning these items, the
window will automatically be hidden until you place the mouse over the
appropriate button. The view will re-appear as long as you're using the window.

Q:
Can I use tempates to enter activities?
A:
Templates are a huge time saver for the user who needs to enter similar
information for a series of fitness activities. For example, a user may have a
running workout that takes place in the same location, has the same warm-up and
cool down duration but different distance and pace for the actual run. The user
can set up the template with this information and insert one line in the
DataGrid for the actual run. You can easily add a fitness activity by choosing
"Add Workout From Template" from various locations in the application.
Templates can be beneficial when entering one workout or an entire marathon
training schedule.

Q:
What is the difference between "planned" and "actual"
workouts?
A:
"Planned" workouts are workout activities entered for future completion. For
example, you may want to enter all workouts for a specific marathon training
plan. These workouts would be "planned". "Actual" workouts are
workout activities that are entered after the activity is completed. The actual
workouts are the tracking portion of the EvenFit application, where the workout
numbers are recorded. For example, after a 10 mile training run you are able to
record distance, time, pace, heart rate, etc.

Q:
How do I manage planned and actual workouts?
A:
An activity user option is set by the user to turn on/off the planned versus
actual functionality. The user option sets the appropriate columns to visible
and adds a "Copy to Actual" button to the activity DataGrids.
The "Copy to Actual" button is used to copy all planned data into the actual
DataGrid columns when a workout has been completed as planned. If the workout
activity is completed other than planned, you can simply type directly into the
DataGrid to record the data.
