Logging In For the First Time
EvenFit allows a simple user setup when logging in for the first time. Click the
New User button and enter your name and personal information in the form
provided. All user defaults are done in the New User view. Click on the
Schedule and Workouts tab to set user preferences.
The Workouts tab offers choices of workouts to track and schedule. EvenFit
offers a Cardio workout that can be used for all types of cardio workouts,
including treadmill, stair machine, walking, hiking, etc. The Running, Swimming
and Biking selections are used for a person who is tracking workouts more
specific to these sports. The Weights workout can be used to track weight
lifting workouts and all the details associated with body building.
Managing Exercises
EvenFit offers a central area for managing exercises for your workouts. Adding
workouts is done via the Tools | Manage Exercises menu.
Clicking the drop down allows you to select the type of exercise to add. For
weight workouts, you can select the muscle group associated with the exercise
type. After entering a Name and Description, the workout is available to use
throughout the EvenFit application for Templates and Workouts. The grid is
grouped by Workout Type and can easily be configured to group by Name or
Description, or a combination. See Customization for more on configuring the
DataGrid.
Using Templates
Do you need to enter workouts that have common sets and exercises but you don't
want to re-enter all the information for each workout? Templates solve this
problem for you! Use Templates to create workouts that are common to your
training regimen. Adding a workout via a template is easy by choosing "Add
Workout from Template" from the right mouse button menu. All your existing
information from the template is available and the workout is scheduled quickly
and efficiently.
